Prometheus is a globally used system for complex data management of Hematopoietic Cell Registers. The system records donors and recipients and daily searches for suitable donors for recipients. The Prometheus system allows reporting to WMDA (World Marrow Donor Association) and is also linked to EMDIS (European Marrow Donor Information System), an international network of stem cell donors, which now covers 90% of donors worldwide.
